What age is BumperPal™ suitable for?
18 months to about 5 years, up to 30 kg (66 lbs). Younger toddlers use the low speed with the parent remote; 4–5 year olds drive it themselves.
Does it work on carpet?
Yes. It's slower on thick carpet than on hard floors, but it still drives and spins. Hard floors, tile, laminate and smooth outdoor surfaces give the best ride.
How long does the battery last?
1–1.5 hours of continuous riding per charge. A full charge takes 8–12 hours, so most families charge overnight.
Is it safe? Will it tip over?
The base is wide and the seat sits low, so tipping is very unlikely in normal use. It has a seat belt, a soft rubber bumper all the way round, two speed modes and a parent remote.
Does it need assembly?
Only clipping on the bumper ring and the two joysticks. Around 10 minutes, no tools.
